What it is
Injectable treatments placed in the skin to improve hydration, elasticity and texture. Polynucleotides support skin repair and are often used around the eyes and neck. Profhilo is a hyaluronic acid treatment that spreads through the skin to improve hydration and firmness.

Is it painful?
Most people find it very manageable. Numbing cream or anaesthetic is used where suitable.
Can I have treatment on the day of my consultation?
Usually you'll have time to think about your plan first. If you've already had full information and want to go ahead, we can discuss it.
Who can't have this treatment?
It isn't suitable in pregnancy or breastfeeding, for under-18s, or with some medical conditions and medicines. I check this at consultation.
