Sculptra and HArmonyCa collagen stimulators at Harley Street
Sculptra and HArmonyCa are injectables that encourage your skin to make its own collagen, so results build gradually.
What it is
Sculptra (poly-L-lactic acid) is a collagen-stimulating injectable. Rather than adding instant volume, it encourages your own collagen production over the following months, improving firmness and support gradually. HArmonyCa combines hyaluronic acid with a collagen stimulator, for some immediate lift alongside gradual firming. I'll advise which suits you at your consultation.
Who it may suit
- Gradual volume loss
- Skin laxity in the mid and lower face
- Patients who prefer slow, natural-looking change
Part of the 360° Approach
I'll consider this treatment as part of a plan for your whole face, so it's balanced with everything else and you only have what you need.
Risks and aftercare
Common: swelling, tenderness and bruising. Uncommon: small lumps under the skin (nodules). I'll explain how to reduce this risk.
Questions
Is it painful?
Most people find it very manageable. Numbing cream or anaesthetic is used where suitable.
Can I have treatment on the day of my consultation?
Usually you'll have time to think about your plan first. If you've already had full information and want to go ahead, we can discuss it.
Who can't have this treatment?
It isn't suitable in pregnancy or breastfeeding, for under-18s, or with some medical conditions and medicines. I check this at consultation.
